Emelia A. Andrews, BCBA
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and have been living in the Czech Republic for 8 years where I have been working with children with developmental disabilities in educational and home settings. I primarily work with children and adults with severe problem behavior, although I also have extensive training and experience working under the principles of verbal behavior. I am a strong believer in a client centered approach and having all participants be equal in the treatment process. My approach to problem behavior is influenced heavily by Dr. Greg Hanley's work with skills based training (SBT) and the practical functional assessment (PFA, formally known as the IISCA [Interview-Informed Synthesized Contingency Analysis]). I speak English natively and have a working level proficiency in both Czech and Czech Sign Language.
